From Data to Decision

Interpreting the New Fused Tomatis Listening Test & Building Effective Programs Reserved for Level 3 and 4 practitioners

Valerie Gas
Psychologist and Trainer, France

Language: [English]
Translation available in: [Spanish] [French] [German] [Italian] [Polish] [Russian] [Romanian]

Interpreting a Listening Test is one thing; turning it into an effective, personalized program is another. In this workshop, Valerie will walk participants through the new fused Tomatis Listening Test using real clinical cases to illustrate the reasoning behind different programming choices. Bring your own cases: this is a working session built around audience-submitted profiles, group discussion, and shared best practice. Leave with sharper interpretation skills and the confidence to build more precise, individualized programs.

Calming the System Before the Sound

Regulatory Rhythms for Supporting Clients with Auditory Over-Responsivity

Weronika Iwanek
Speech Therapist, Poland

Language: [English]
Translation available in: [Spanish] [French] [German] [Italian] [Polish] [Russian] [Romanian]

Often it’s not the ear. Weronika Iwanek built Regulatory Rhythms after seeing the same pattern repeatedly in clients who couldn’t tolerate sound: the nervous system was dysregulated, not the hearing. The framework combines sensorimotor work, autonomic activities, and vocal exercises designed to sit between Tomatis® sessions and prepare the client for the next one. You’ll leave with a set of activities you can start using this week.

Play First, Headphones Second

Practical, Playful, Powerful Ways to Apply Tomatis with Children with Autism

Kara Tavolacci
Occupational Therapist

Language: [English]
Translation available in: [Spanish] [French] [German] [Italian] [Polish] [Russian] [Romanian]

Getting a child to keep the headphones on is half the job. Kara Tavolacci spends this session on the other half: turning ordinary therapy equipment and toys into moments of regulation, engagement, and connection, built around a Floortime® approach. Minimal theory, mostly demonstration. Every activity comes with the “why” behind it and a variation for different sensory and developmental profiles, so it travels straight from the workshop into your next session.

Reflexes, Laterality, and the Three Tomatis Zones

Retention of the Primitive Reflex and the Tomatis Method

Albert Rosa
Pediatric Osteopath, Spain

Language: [Spanish]
Translation available in: [English] [French] [German] [Italian] [Polish] [Russian] [Romanian]

Retained primitive reflexes don’t just affect posture and coordination, they shape how the auditory and proprioceptive systems mature together, including across the three Tomatis zones. Albert Rosa maps that relationship in detail: which reflexes influence the vestibular system, auditory laterality, attention, and visual development; how to build reflex-pattern training exercises directly into a listening session; and how interhemispheric connection factors in where laterality is involved. This one is technical. Come ready to take notes, not just impressions.

One Day to Level 2

Become a Level 2 Practitioner: Integrate the Listening Test into Your Practice Using the Maestro Headset

Jean-Pierre Granier
PhD, Research Director, France

Language: [English]
Translation available in: [Spanish] [French] [German] [Italian] [Polish] [Russian] [Romanian]

This full-day workshop is for anyone ready to move from Level 1 to Level 2.
Jean-Pierre Granier will lead participants through each stage of the fused Tomatis Listening Test, from administration and interpretation to using the results to guide programming. The day combines demonstrations, hands-on practice, and discussion to help participants become comfortable using the Maestro headset and incorporating the Listening Test into their clinical practice.
